1998. Austin. South Park Meadows [my favorite lost music venue].
More underarm hair then I had ever seen. And tons of dreaded, gorgeous, free flowing, hippie women.
This was me, at 15, at Lilith Fair. July 31st 1998.
I can't tell you which acts I actually saw because I can't remember a lot from it.
[drugs are bad mmmmkay]
But what I can say is that it's coming back, and I'm reppin like it's '98 all over again.
Because of these ladies

Heart. Barracuda. Fucking Barracuda!
Some other greatness;
Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, The Gossip, Metric, Cat Power, Brandi Carlile, Loretta Lynn, Janelle Monae, Kate Nash, Lissie, Marina and the Diamonds, La Roux, Sia, Tegan and Sara, and MORE!
Most importantly, it's coming to Austin. No dates or location has been announced but I'm waiting for that shit.
Speaking of Festivals, Bonnaroo line up is out.
Best performer scheduled to play, Stevie Wonder.
And these guys [chromeo = daryl hall, from the likes of HALL & OATES]

NO JOKE
But other than that, meh.
There's some goodies sprinkled here and there, but seriously, can we forbide any KOL on the festival circuit this year????
Enough is Enough.
