Kung Fu Toro

So I wrote out this hilarious, well written recap of last nights' events.

Back to my original post.
Last night, I ventured out in the mildly cold evening to see a friend off for his warm hugged vacay in San Diego [Happy, I'm so jealous] He suggested a new bar near his place, called Kung Fu Saloon. Now, I'm not sure if you knew me about 2-3 years ago. But I seriously thought I was a ninja. Walking through the streets handing out throat chops was my night time job. And I did it well, man. With my height [or lack there of] I was able to sneak up all ninja style and save the world one throat at a time. So asking if i wanted to go a place that served alcoholic beverages with kung fu in the name was ridiculous. I was already there!

Side note. I was a bit skeptical though. Location is on West 6th across the street from Wahoos.
West 6th is douchebag central, but I assumed since the bar just opened, it was not yet infiltrated with affliction doused men and ugg booted girl. /gross [if you are offended by these comments, i'd cautiously step away. these sentiments won't ever change for good ole sailorlegs.]

So I get there and fell in love. Fuck D&B- this is my Chuck E Cheese #adult style!
Back wall filled with skeeball, NBA JAM [yeah, sega!], donkey kong, street fighter, mortal kombat, and more. Then side tables that were the table top games [pacman included].
Ahmazing.

They had the round bar in the middle of the place, so now matter where you were, it was all easy access and a fantastic bartender.

Another side note. Please refrain from going up to a bar to order, if you still don't know what you want yet. I had that shit.
[see: "yeah, I want um, jager bomb. wait, 2, then, um, well, no wait. 1 jager, and blah blah blah- shut the fuck up]

Back to bar talk: TouchScreen music player, but after speaking with the owner and finding out his musical taste [minus the bear/ J5/mos def] I will not be having an issue with their playlists.

They also had a great patio that is begging for some warmer weather.

So all in all. Great place, great times [of course], and great find.
