Beat Down

You know when you have one of those days where you took in so much alcohol the night before, you are still drunk until mid afternoon?
Well, BOSS, that was not the case for me!! *nods head side to side*

Rebirth brought the fi-yah on thursday along with great times and large amounts of *whispers* alcohol.
Needless to say, momma was indisposed until Saturday morning.
I totally felt like THE SITUATION here and JWWOW was the boozetrain.


So sadly, I missed Glitoris' fiesta at Red Fez, which I hear went off.

Saturday, though. I made it to Emo's for KR and 101x Homegrown live Series.
Besides the amount of minors, my ass had a GREAT time, and I caught a bit of Goodie Mob!

Ok, so I know neither were Goodie Mob tracks but c'mon. [and yes, film is shotty as fuuuuck] I don't claim to be good at this. It's just here to sprinkle a little light on your day!

But with homegrown- Zlam Dunk killed it. Fresh Millions were so fly. The Couch [I popped my cherry seeing them live for the first time], I LOVED! Hello The Black Keys [minus the bluesy part], and of course Custodian put on a show.

I walked out of there just to run into the Mystery Machine itself, and of course with my friends, it turned into a photoshoot. *vogue*

Needless to say this week I'm in full recovery mode. Kind of.
I'm doing a 10day yoga program. EVERYDAY. I'm 3 days in and still shakey.
It's actually a really awesome deal. $10 bucks for 10 days and you can go however many times in those 10 days. It is hot yoga, but it's great. Sweat out all of those toxins I had just put in my body! Score.

But first, sxsw. *sigh* I don't believe that anyone in this town, involved in the music scene gets a valid resting point in the year. Maaaaybe during Christmas, but we are all still at the bars because it's less crowded and let's be honest, all of us are friends with bartenders SOMEWHERE. You lush, you! ;)
