Sailor Pick | Drivr

So this is what my life is about 70% of the time

And with that, the dreaded journey of getting home.

It's different in every city.

Austin- DO NOT DRIVE DRUNK. My salvage is usually passing out on my friends couch that lives downtown. But supposedly that's not very "adult" like.
So I call a cab home. Getting a hold of Roy ain't that easy!

London- Ugggh, the dreaded drunk night bus home. That takes hours just to get from North to SW16 (reppin') and full of drunk ass "lads" that need to puff their chest to feel like their parents love them.
I could call a cab, but driving my ass home to SW16 isn't high on their to do list. EVEN FOR ALL OF MY MONEY. Which isn't a lot.

Copenhagen- Drunkenly try to ride my bike home. But HELLO WINTER. My nose is ready to fall off at this point. FINE. Call a cab and try to fight my standing neighbours for one.
Oh, no. You didn't.

MY LIFE is so hard. #firstworldproblems.

Until some handsome Danes felt my pain and created Drivr

Now for majority of you, Drivr will be the go to cab aggregator app.
Open up the app, click to book a taxi- it calls the nearest available taxi to you, and you can see it heading your way on the map. PLUS, no cash? No problem. All payments are made in app with your credit card on file. Once the ride completes, you receive the receipt via email.

But for those beautiful people in Copenhagen and London, you get the choice of a sleek, fashionable executive cars. Rollin' in Mercedes, Audis, Jags. WHAT WORLD DO I LIVE IN NOW?

The fact that I can jump in a Mercedes from central London, they probably think I'm rolling to Chelsea with the way it looks, but nope. TAKE ME TO STREATHAM, BRO. #southlondon
And they totally do. It's beautiful.

What's not beautiful is my drunk ass coming home at 4am to a sleeping boyfriend.
"Hey boo, wake up! Wait, I'm gonna go to bed now. Night!"
Homeboy is not amused.

But either way, I got home safely and with money still in my pocket. So win/win.

Your turn: Download the app
(available for iPhone and Android. Windows, they didn't forget about you. Stay tuned, boo.)

Sailor Pick | Quadron

It's only Tuesday but that doesn't stop me from trying to make it better with new music.
I've been making my way through all the releases I've been pining over for the past 6 months. JT, Blakey, Bonobo, Rilo Kiley, The Staves, Inc, and Chvrches.

Now that my antipation tank is empty, time to refill that girl.

Quadron is releasing their next album Avalanche June 4th. Here is the video for their first single.

You can also catch them on that ridiculous soundtrack for The Great Gatsby that already includes Beyonce, Andre 3000, The XX, Sia, and Jay-Z.

Sailor Pick | Szjerdene Arrows

Don't be shocked boo. I'm bringing you some beautiful vocals.

London's own songstress, Szjerdene [pronounced JhurDEEN] has been around now for a couple of years.
This is the video that got me.

Recently, she put some vocals to one of my favorite Jacques Greene tracks, with Koreless, Arrow.
Check it out

She also lent her vocals to Bonobo's latest, as if you needed another reason to check her out.
